Our system allows you to reskin our BurstSMS platform with your own logo and colour to look like your software and resell at a margin to your clients. We have two different financial models you can use. 1. Pay us a monthly license fee and get SMS at cost. 2. Pay no monthly license fee and get SMS at our low retail rate. Any message that doesn't meet the following three conditions is defined as spam:
- Consent – the message must be sent with consent of the recipient
- Identify – the message must contain accurate information about the person or organisation that authorised the sending of the message
- Unsubscribe – the message must contain a functional 'unsubscribe' facility to allow you to opt out of receiving messages from that source.
Messages do not have to be sent out in bulk to be considered spam. Under law, a single electronic message can also be considered spam.
We make it easy by having the opt-out instruction added automatically to your message if you choose that option. It is your responsibility to ensure that your subscribers have given consent to be on your list.
Collect subscriber giving consent with our website form code
You can add recipients and subscribers that have given consent to your database by using a website form. We have cut and paste code that you can add directly to your HTML that will produce a form that when details are entered, adds them straight to your BurstSMS database.
The form has a radio button that asks the user whether or not they wish to be added to your SMS list. If they check the button that is giving consent.
Personalise your SMS messages
We have many ways to personalise your message. We have the standard first name, last name variables. Customisable variables. You can also set the SenderID service to show who the message comes from. Although if you do this you can't use the opt-out system as the message has to come from our long code.
Custom variables will be added to your website forms so that the data can be collected then used in the messages you send out.
